Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any prior kayaking experience?
No. While we encourage our guests to be in good physical condition, we do not require any prior kayaking or biking experience. We'll teach you the fundamentals before we begin on the first day. Our guides paddle and paddle with you and help you sharpen your skills so you may become a more accomplished kayaker or cyclist.

What is the food like?
Our menus are inspired by ethnic foods from the Caribbean and beyond, featuring the freshest available ingredients. From chicken roti with mango chutney to fresh mahi-mahi roasted over hot coals, we offer delicious, healthy cuisine with an international flair. On the inn-to-inn tours, we will dine in restaurants for breakfast and dinner, and have a picnic lunch.

What equipment do you provide and what do we bring?
We provide all kayaking and camping equipment (North Face tents, Therm-A-Rest pads) as well as all meals. On the bike tours, we provide front-suspension Cannondale mountain bikes. You need to bring only your personal clothing and snorkel gear.

How large are the groups?
We try to keep our groups fairly small in order to give our guests personalized attention. Our maximum group size is ten guests accompanied by two guides.

How do I sign up?
We require a 50% deposit in order to reserve for all of our tours. You can fill out our online reservation form, or you can call us with your Visa or Mastercard, or you can send us a check.. The balance is due 30 days prior to the trip departure date.
